Arkansas County Housing Authority

Arkansas County Housing Authority (ACHA) provides 116 Public Housing units and manages 456 Section 8 Vouchers for area landlords. ACHA serves all of Arkansas County including the cities of: Almyra, Altheimer, Casscoe, Crocketts Bluff, Ethel, DeWitt, Gillett, Humphrey, Roe, St. Charles, Stuttgart, Tichnor and Wabbaseka. The mission of the Arkansas County Housing Authority is to promote adequate and affordable housing, economic opportunity, and a suitable environment free from discrimination.

In 2025, ACHA was designated by HUD as a Housing Choice Voucher - High Performing Agency.
